About Us

Kelly von Schmid is the Founder and Managing Partner of Voncor Capital, a private credit firm specializing in commercial real estate investments across the Eastern and Southern United States.

With a track record of originating over $1.3 billion in commercial real estate debt, Kelly brings deep expertise in structuring complex financing solutions. Prior to founding Voncor Capital, she served as an Originator for J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Private Credit platform, where she focused on institutional lending strategies. Earlier in her career, Kelly originated loans and built key depository relationships at PNC Bank (formerly BBVA Compass), laying the foundation for her expertise in both banking and private credit.

Kelly earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama and master's in Real Estate from New York University.
